Five young trekkers and their tour guide embark on a weekend adventure in the Kollimalai hills. Despite warnings, they venture into a restricted area, unknowingly entering the domain of a malevolent spirit, which is hell bent on wreaking havoc in their lives. Did they survive the relentless onslaught and harrowing encounter with the supernatural force in the haunted woods?
“Pechi” (2024) චිත්‍රපටය, භීතිකර හා ත්‍රාසජනක තේමාවක් වටා නිර්මාණය වූ කතාවක් වේ. ප්‍රධාන චරිතය වන පෙචි, පෞරාණික කතා සම්භවයක් ඇති තරුණියක් වන අතර, ඇය අඳුරාගත් කළාදේව විද්‍යාවක් සහිත භීෂණ පෞරාණික ස්ත්‍රී චරිතයකි. පෙචි, අඳුරු වනයක ජීවත් වන අතර, වශීකරණය හා මනෝ භූත ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ඔස්සේ මිනිස් ආත්මයන් පූජා කරනවයි.
කතාවේදී, චරිත කණ්ඩායමක් එම වනයට ඇවිද යන අතර, ඔවුන් පසුව පෙචිගේ අඳුරු අත්දැකීම්වලට මුහුණ දිය යුතු වෙනවා. වනයේ සංකේතවලට නොඅනුගතව පෙචිගේ පෞරාණික කුටික්‍රමවලට හසු වන ඔවුන්, ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිත බේරාගැනීමට අභියෝගයකට මුහුණ දෙති.
